this is a really nice song, and it's played and
arranged in the a very similar vein to the world
famous composite (track #2). i personally believe
the lyrics have some political meaning, or at least
some form of societal commentary, but i'm not sure
what exactly. great song!!

here's them playing bread live in 2018. worth the
watch, it sounds really good in this type of small live
setting

teaching the children to mean what they're told
with their mouths burning two words they're too wise to be old
so in fear into things they can't see but believe
and we don't even give them the chance to agree

no questions asked guarantee fell away
a population of people who deal in cliché
and there's no punctuation to grant you relief
you know all that you get is a chance to agree

half undone
either that or
i'm the first to fold and last to lead a line
symptomatic of the blessings and the disguise

gorging on what those have said i have said
(and now)
brushed from the table just like crumbs of bread
(and now)

have i fell
is it easy
or perhaps you're learning how to duck to the south
getting the hang of it
but i was a fool to stop
overwhelmed by
thoughts that keep you keeping me up
